Hey all, I haven't come up with much for today but to say this break sucks man the Kings were just picking up the pace. I am going to be in and out of the blog today but I wanted to star with a link to something interesting for all to check out. It might confuse you a bit but gives you a good look at the standings.
Mind you all this is not my work and all credit goes to the writer of Jewel's from the crown but hey it's fun to look at. Also I will probably be adding cooments with other links to the blog later today, everyone enjoy and check out some of those cool sponsor ads on the page.
Thanks The Kool-Aid Mixer
Man busy night no more links for tonight but I did get a kick out of the story of a sharks fan at staples center so wasted she threw up on her jersey and needed a stretcher to get to first aid. What a loser but then again she was a sharks fan
ReplyDeleteThis break for the All-Stars is a bit of a bummer. I know it's welcome for most teams as a time to rest for a bit. In the past the Kings don't always come back from a rest this time of year very well but I think it will be different this time. The guys seem to be more hungry now and focused to keep the win roll going. Poni got the monkey off his back and will be hungry to keep scoring. Hopefully Nighttrain can get rid of the monkey on his back and follow suit like Poni.
ReplyDeleteI did manage to catch most of the draft; interesting concept. It reminded me of when I was in school picking teams. You never wanted to be the last once picked. Kind of felt sorry for Phil Kessel. Was the laugh he had a "damm I can't believe I'm the last one" or "what a joke". Was it pouring salt in the wound by giving him a car? Dunno but it was very different. Hope the guys don't give him too much crap for that. I think Team Lidstrom is gonna tear it up. Of course most of my favorite players are on that team. I'll wait for the highlights. Don't think I can watch the whole thing since it's not a real game.
Tuesday is the day where life gets back to normal and Center Ice will be burning up the TV.
Until then I'll watch some of my favorite movies that include an oyster and a tiger.
I think the break is something the King's need and will not let what happen last year happen again this year. I was glad to see Kopi get picked ths year for the all-stars and know he will make the King's proud. Also, it's something I needed as well as a fan going to all of the games lately. I think the King know what needs to be done and will make it happen. I read an article in the Hockey news stating that the King's have a 60.4% change of making the playoffs. They need to take full advantage of this trip to do so. Enloyed the last blog of "Childs play" knowing that your daughter was enjoying the game and paying attention, unlike children her age that were paying more attention to Bailey or the T-shirts being tossed. It was also funny to hear her say that the King's made soup out of them (Shark Soup). Of course we always enjoyed the Cartmam video of saying, "Oh, it's only a San Jose Shark"! I vote for her to come more often and I think I will call in a couple of wagers on which player will score first that she calls. Enjoy your break and will see you soon. Also, always looking for my daily dose of the Koolaid! As Gene Levy would say in American Pie, "Keep it real homies"...
